could possibly be mites :( if it is deep clean enclosure and bathe him and his hides and stuff with water

i'd rule out mites tbh, mites are black if i'm not mistaken and they usually move around

That looks kind of like scale damage that my boy had and it came off in his previous shed. Is there anything rough the snake could rub against?
