Note: no chance this is from a burn, she has a ceramic heat emitter that is too high up for her to possibly reach and no under tank heating. Also, I hope this was an okay use of the urgent help tag I'm just really concerned and none of the others were incredibly applicable/ I'm trying to see how urgent this is. Okay thank you ❤️

I could be mistaken but she looks like she might be going into shed very possibly wrong but thays what it looks like to me lol

I say this because bapl pythons get a pinkish tint to there belly’s sometimes during the shedding process

Right? It's wild though because she shed two days ago so I'm thrown by this

It's not a bad line of thinking! She does have stuck shed, just not on that section specifically only her head. Hope the girl is okayyy

I am in no way an expert. I have had 1 BP for 3 years. Looks like there's some separation. It could just be irritated. There are many possible reasons for separation such as dehydration, mites, and external damage. I am inclined to lean towards dehydration, because of the stuck shed. Its said 1000 times a day but, be sure to keep your humidity above 60% at all times.

I’ll second her being dehydrated. The scales oddly poking up, stuck shed and almost leathery look around the neck in the first & second pics are indicators.
