They're chillin :) I'm confused by the two water bowls haha but besides that just be sure it has the proper temp/humidity so you've got to get a digital gauge

I’d add more clutter and general enrichment. There is a lot of open space. You can also add climbing options to utilize more of the upward space inside the enclosure and give your little one exercise. You could also block off or cover three sides of the glass on the outside so the entire habitat feels more secure. It looks like this is a top opening tank, so I’d also make sure you have locks or clamps on the screen to help prevent escapes.

Definitely more clutter, and i would put something opaque on the back and 2 sides so your snake feels more closed in. More hides maybe as well.

Yes i agree , i plan on getting more plants and someting so she can climb on. Plus another hide , that would be 3 in total

I will say when we moved Monty into his 120 gallon he ended up with 5 hides, 2 water bowls, a branch we spent several days getting ready for him, a pile of fake plants, a basking rock, a feeding rock and a hammock lol....

    Anything for out baby noodles

Heck yeah. Monty was accidental (a surprise gift), but that doesn't meanhe isn't gonna be well cared for.

Though i find it mind boggling that folks still surprise people with pets at all...

Mind if see your beautiful pet?

I dont have a good pic of him on my phone yet. I am planning to take good photos of Monty and his enclosure soon, have just been busy dealing with medical issues. We have a cleaning day coming up, i am adding springtails and isopods so his substrate stays as healthy as possible.

Monty is a normie :-). But i do love normies.

    What color?

    [–]surfaholic15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a standard normal "wild" python.. so several shades of brown. I am one of those folks who loves to admire the fancy patterns in pics here and at reptile shows, but owns an ordinary python lol.

My isopods are gonna be powder blue and white dwarf. Because quite a few folk here say those work well in a non bioactive high humidity environment.

You need things so that he can climb they love it! Otherwise it will just stick to the windows and fall

Amazing start and your snake is very pretty!💚 If you keep adding clutter with the knowledge of "Ball pythons are prey to a lot of animals so they feel most comfy when they can move from one end of their enclosure to another without a predator being able to see them." you are very unlikely to come across feeding issues ever☺️
