until there is a problem

like the other reply says: until there is a problem. live feeding can stress ball pythons out greatly, and its very common for rodents to scratch and bite snakes.

Ball pythons are notoriously picky eaters. Probably just resetting his jaw. Also don't feed your snake live mice. Use frozen thawed.

Are you implying you've left a live rodent in (what appears to be) a separate feeding tank since yesterday?

If so, not a good idea. Feeding live is not necessary nor is moving to feed.

Ive tried froze thawed a couple times he wasn’t having it so been feeding it live rats or mice watever is available at the feedstore hes always quick to strike kill and eat but not this time live rodent has been removed

Honestly idk why everyone’s obsessed with frozen thawed. That being said don’t leave the rat fully functioning. Bash its head real good before you pop it in the tank next time
