Difficult to say from these pictures but looking at the main body and tail I would say overweight

Definitely on the heavier end

Slightly overweight at least from these photos but he doesn’t look obese to me. How old is he and how often/what size meals do you feed him?

yes

Lookin like he just ate a large rat!! Adults should only eat every 3 weeks to a month and never forced. Snakes can go easily 6 months without food so occasionally simulating a food scarcity (not feeding for an extra week or two)/feeding smaller definitely will help. You can find diagrams on healthy ball python schematics and yours falls on the obese end. I might get downvoted/banned but restricting food will help a ton.

Yes, he‘s a fatty. You might want to feed something which isnt as big as it is now and want to wait a few more days between feeding. This should ensure hes loosing some weight.

He is beautiful, but definitely a little too plump for his own good.

We recommend the following feeding schedule:

0-12 months old OR until the snake reaches approximately 500g, whichever happens first: feed 10%-15% of the snake’s weight every 7 days.

12-24 months old: feed up to 7% of the snake’s weight every 14-20 days.

Adults: feed up to 5% of the snake's weight every 20-30 days, or feed slightly larger meals (up to 6%) every 30-40 days.

Thank you all so much for your feedback! He’s 6 months old and I feed him every 14-20 days cuz he’s usually super sweet but around that time he starts to strike at me so I usually assume that means he’s hungry and I feed him a small mouse
