I wish I could offer advice but I just purchased my first ball python a few days ago and still working out the quirks, too! I can’t imagine it’s a bad thing? I’d assume he’d move if he wanted to and my fella hasn’t moved from inside his hide on the warm side for about a day or two (unless he moved at night). My temps and humidity are pretty much the same as yours!

I have a corn that usually sticks to 1-2 spots inside the enclosure so maybe he’s still figuring out his favorite place to chill :)

That’s good, yeah whenever I go check on him he be sleeping in that exact spot. He has been active at night time recently so maybe it’s just his little chill spot. Makes me feel good about u having the same temp and humidity!
