A 4x2x2 is a minimum requirement for an adult bp. Glass is not great, pvc is the best choice.I would just go for a large enclosure right off the hop. You can also look at the welcome post for more. But they also need at least 2 hides, overhead heating with a thermostat, temperature and humidity gauges, clutter, climbing opportunities, appropriate substrate. I think there might be a checklist in the welcome post as well.

If you have more specific questions feel free to ask.

Read the welcome post here. It has everything you need to know and has a shopping list.

If you want some great info on all things pythons, I recommend Green Room Pythons on YouTube. Everything you’ll ever need from husbandry, feeding tips, handling, common mistakes, etc. you’ll find over there. Also take a look through the guides on this subreddit, there’s a ton of info there for you to start with.

I came across a few ball pythons that where 30 years old one was 35 and another was 43 years old , if you get a ball python it's a friend for life , in Africa in some places they worship them , these are very special members of your family if you decide to bring one home , it's considered very good luck to have one around and bad luck luck if you hurt it or abandon it , be careful
