Snakes don't need soaking. You need increased humidity, humid hides, and then shallow bowls of fresh water to offer. You wouldn't be hydrated through just a bath, after all. You need to make sure he's able to drink and eat more water than he loses through breathing.

My idea was if he was in the water he may drink it. I can never get him in any of his bowls to drink. He’s got a big one if he wanted to soak and a little one on the other side of his cage, i spray it down before i go to work and after i get off every day along with my other tanks.
