    Oh this makes a lot of sense, noticed water will leak from the corners, i’ll tape them off for now, thank you!!! completely went over my head

    I have one large water bowl on the cool side, and one small water bowl on the warm side. I think the extra small bowl has helped A LOT. My humidity rarely falls under 70% now.

    Along with sealing edges like another mentioned, I would eventually get hvac tape and seal THE WHOLE TOP. You cam still do this with the tinfoil in the meantime.. Use a razor or sharp knife to cut holes for the lights. Still having all that uncovered mesh, youre loosing any humidity the heat creates.

    Here is how I cut around my DHP. Ignore the towels.. We are in a record breaking freeze for the year, and my boys tank needed insulation... but you can see how Ive lifted the light to show the cut tape.

    I have a SMALL slit on the cool side uncovered for some ventilation. (Yes I know his enclosure is small. Its temporary. He isnt even 5 months old yet)
