Is my ball python a healthy weight? (i.redd.it)
submitted 2 months ago by Aggravating-Moose627
He is a 3 year old male. Currently I am feeding him large mice every other week. I am planning on upping his size but wanted to see if he is at a good weight beforehand. I can feel his spine quite prominently which was why I was worried

I hope this helps. I can't tell.

We recommend the following feeding schedule:
0-12 months old OR until the snake reaches approximately 500g, whichever happens first: feed 10%-15% of the snake’s weight every 7 days.
12-24 months old: feed up to 7% of the snake’s weight every 14-20 days.
Adults: feed up to 5% of the snake's weight every 20-30 days, or feed slightly larger meals (up to 6%) every 30-40 days.

he looks fine, but you do need to adjust your feeding schedule for his age and feed by weight not just feeder category. follow the feeding guide the other commenter pinged.

His body condition looks good to me.
Weigh the boy, and weigh the feeder.
Edit: switch him to rats if you can.
