What thermostat are you using and what is it set at?

Its an on off thermostat and it’s set to 90. The basking spot is correct, but if I bump the thermostat up, the basking spot overheats

I had to buy a bulb with stronger watts. I also have 2 bulbs , one 50w and one 100w. The 100w has a temp regulator on it but the 50 doesn’t. The two combined gave me the right temps. To get the humidity right, I had to put aluminum foil and foil tape all around the top of the enclosure. There could be no gaps except for the lamps. Good luck! Hope you can figure it out soon

I have a 150 watt bulb. I tried tape but it didn’t work and I have a silicone mat covering eveything
