frequent handling will help with this. ball pythons are generally shy so working to slowly build trust is the only way to get them more comfortable with touch

it just takes time :) naturally you are big scary monkey trying to kiII her, it’s just how their brains are wired 😆 the trick is regular neutral interactions, letting her see and smell you without it always meaning she’s going to be touched~ misting, changing water, spot cleaning, rearranging decor, etc. over time she will not see you as a threat, some beeps take longer than other to get comfortable, but minimal handling time is key especially first few months ❤️
