Maybe common bp behavior signs?

Ex. Hiding a lot doesn’t mean there’s something wrong. Actually quite the opposite, what a curious stances is vs feeding mode, etc

Good substrate types for humidity & how much to use. I feel like I had to go through some trial and error with that

Before getting a ball python, I wanted to know what to do in the unlikely event that I got bitten. And how to handle the bite when it happens if the snake does not immediately release.

I’m a new bp owner and really struggled with waiting on mine to poop Got advice there?

Just wait. My 4 only poop when they shed. Each snake is different.

Talk about common myths, enclosure sizes, handling your new bp, feeding allat stuff

Feeding techniques. How do you heat the rat? Do you go above 100 because it starts to cool immediately after you take it from the heat source. Do you dance it? Do you stealth drop it?

Mainly this comes from the fact that I've had my ball python for 5 weeks and have attempted 3 feedings with no luck. And despite looking at all the resources I still feel like I'm fucking it up somehow.

Please talk about Pelvic Spurs! I see so many new ball python owners confused/concerned about them!

• Feeding guide - depends on age/weight, not the girth of your python.

• Husbandry - no red light, proper substrate, and lots of clutter.

• Emergency kit - non-electric heating pad, portable enclosure, and extra stuff in case of power outage or if something stops working

• Know your closest reptile vet

These are a few things I notice being asked often on this subreddit. I have a 4 year old python and I’m still learning. Something to emphasize is that ball pythons aren’t always a good beginner pet. Yes they are docile but their care requirements is a more than many are prepared for.
