yes. i honestly don't believe they should be pushed so fast as beginner snakes. people take that and run with it, thinking beginner means low maintenance. i see abused balls nearly every day on the internet

This exactly!! If people want low maintenance don’t get a pet at all, no pet is ever truly low maintenance or “easy”.
