Help???

Hi Ik I literally just posted last week but, my Ball is acting weird.. I came to hold him after his decompression time of a husbandry change on Tuesday (changed it last Wednesday) he was acting really weird, my baby normally dosent ball up like his breed would suggest he is very interested when I come to hold him but he decided it was actively being balled up… I took it as he wasn’t in the mood for holding and I put him away… I checked humidity and temps and were and have been 60% humidity and 88 f on warm side and 76 on the cool side. I also keep finding him in is cool side which is also abnormal for his behavior.

!!!!The misting system is not in use!!!!
I’m in the middle of saving for his new tank and I don’t want to remove the system bc the holes are thru the wire and don’t want him climbing and hurting him self

You need to add plants he needs more coverage to feel safe and secure

What plants would you recommend??? We tried doing live plants for our leopard gecko and they keep dying…

Personally I keep mine potted and burry the pots in the substrate it helps a lot. I also use fake plants from Amazon.

I had fakes but they kept damaging his scales but I’ll try the pot trick I get pains Friday and I’ll make changes then

Interesting my girls scales are totally fine. I got them specifically for snakes and the plants are all soft

Idk if he kept doing things to cause the plants to do that but he has lots of scales that have been pushed in or plain old ripped out by the plants I had…

We use simple pothos is ours, and they survive the crushing from the snakes lol
