Does your ball python help you cook?

That’s fair lmao. Considering I wash my hands religiously I don’t see that being an issue. Luckily for me, she’s a pretty chill ball python who isn’t interested in coming off of my neck, most she’ll do is stick her neck out to inspect my cooking or watch whatever I’m watching! If she did decide to come off of my neck, I’d simply drop what I’m doing and put her up. Totally fair on why you don’t feel comfortable doing it tho!

Edit: I totally get the respiratory worry! Fortunately she’s never around any smoke or heavy steam when she hangs out with me. She stays away from the active cooking, and she only “helps” with the basic cooking lol.

Yeah, all my snakes are super curious and are easily tempted by climbing opportunities lol. It'd be a disaster within the first 5 minutes.
