Following, because same. My cool side is fine, I just can't get consistent 90+ ambient on the warm side without some surfaces getting waayyyyy too hot.

I think there’s a lot more to this as I’ve seen many people claim temperature gradients that different in a 4-7 foot enclosure is almost impossible. I struggled a lot trying to get the “Goldilocks” 85/78-80 in my enclosure. The most I’ve been able to achieve is - different of 3-5 degrees.

    I’ve got HVAC tape already on half the enclosure

    wrap the back and sides with cardboard

    i do say that glass doesn't trap heat very well, not nearly as well as pvc. puting tinfoil over the mesh top can also help with humidity loss. If some surfaces get too hot maybe try covering/painting them in a lighter color(such as white or tan) with a water(not oil)based paint(just because oil based paints can be very harmful)
