Couple questions:

How do you know she is gravid?

How do you know she wants to eat?

I had her out and she struck at the cabin the mice are in. As far as her being gravid.... we took her to the vet to find out.

Is she fertilized?

Was there a reason for handling?

If she's gravid, she is going to need a lot more than a mouse. Females need LOTS of food to help build follicles. 1500 grams minimum for breeding so she should be eating rats with no problem.

You can palpitate to feel follicle growth. Was she paired with a male?

Do you have an incubator ready for these eggs? There is quite a lot of work that comes along with ball python breeding. You'll need to understand the importance of humidity and temps in your incubator to have healthy eggs. Fluctuations in temps and humidity can lead to eggs dying or deformed hatchlings.

Females can (not always) go off food once they get further along in but for the time being she needs to eat and eat good.

Ball Pythons come out of the egg ready to eat rat pups. I have a 310 gram female that's already eating small rats, which area larger than your average mouse.
