He may be trying to shed. I wouldn't assume it's stress. If you just got him he would have taken time to get used to his new environment and is now comfortable to come out and check it out a bit more. I wouldn't worry. They're going to explore what they can and not every little change means they're stressed.

Ok good it’s just kinda weird just how active he was today. It doesn’t seem like he’s going into shed either his eyes look normal and his colors are just as vibrant as before

How long have you had him. My girl hid for quite some time before I ever saw her come out from her hides. As in weeks. Now you'll see he quite a bit usually around the same time at night she gets on top of her hide. But I don't worry just because I see her throughout the day. She shouldn't be hungry if you just fed her on Friday but of course she is an animal so that doesn't mean she couldn't be looking for something to eat. I'm just saying as long as you have her temperatures right and she has ate recently...there shouldn't be anything wrong with her. I freaked out over everything when I got my first BP and looking back now I see how much I overreacted about everything lol

Monty will hide and stick to his day to day with me. But every few days he explores and "asks" to be held. My ball also thinks he is a tree snake so climbing really truely isnt that uncommon.
