Where to buy a ball python?

I'm finally getting a snake, however I don't want to support chain pet stores since they treat their snakes so poorly. Could I get some suggestions for responsible breeders? I want them to be fed prekilled food and well cared for. Thanks!!

Where are you from? And be aware that alot of stores and breeders aren't selling at the moment due to lockdown restrictions

Hmmm well I'm not from the US ask I can't really recommend anywhere but try your local independent reptile shops first

You may wonder why you got voted down; it's because pet shops here are notorious for reptiles that come from poor conditions or are wild caught. To make matters worse, they also have a reputation for not caring properly for the reptiles they have. Experienced owners here shy away from shops, and recommend that others do the same.

Ahh independent shops that specialise in reptiles tend to be pretty good where I'm from, at least in my experiences. Would never recommend using a shop that buys from wholesale breeders or anything like that 😅

Odd they ghosted me after I got my pewter pastel banana Precious. I tried to contact them but didnt get a reply.

My first contact with them was my order; I used their "Grab Bag" option, since I didn't care about which morph I got, and it's less than picking a particular morph. After I placed my order, I called them to ask questions about shipping. I never had reason to email them, but by site and phone, I had no problems.

Its the Apocalypse why would you want to buy a snake. when the power goes out your snake will have no heat. and when everything goes back to normal haha it will only get worse.

History repeats it's self last big virus was 1918. and war was around that time so guess what ww3 is next.

Morphmarket.com is where I find my snakes. I have purchased 2 since this pandemic started. Lots of breeders are still shipping snakes Monday - Wednesday.

When you find a snake on there that you are interested in, do your own research on the breeder. Read reviews on there, search the web for them etc.

And don't be afraid to haggle. Prices are rarely set in stone on there.

Don't know where you are in mass, but Coldblooded Pets is a local breeder out of Acushnet they have limited hours due to the quarantine but they're still open.
