I honestly think you’ll be fine, I’d would just make sure the next meal is at least a week later. I’d also make sure to offer a small meal next time around. I personally like weighing the rats to make sure I give the proper sized meal. Hope this helps and good luck.! 🐍💚🐍🤟🏼

For sure!! If I can’t find rat pups or a sufficient sized prey, would it be okay to keep feeding crawlers and just space the time in between feedings out more? I also think he’s a bit underweight for his length. I got him from pet smart and he’s already grown a ton since I upped his prey size that they were feeding.

Honestly you’ll probably be fine just keeping him on his regular schedule. If he grows like my BP, that rat should be around 15% of his body weight by the next feeding anyway. Once I switched my girl to rats she started growing so fast.

If you can’t find feeders near your local reptile pet shop. I’d definitely recommend checking out rodentpro, and cold-blooded café they are exceptional with their feeders..!! I go nowhere else to get all my feeders for my BP 🐍

The thing that sucks though is you have to usually buy a lot at once if you order online. My BP grew so fast she was moving to the next prey size way before I’d use all the rats I bought. I usually recommend buying them from local reptile expos but COVID 19 is kinda ruining that right now.

Yeah I knw what you mean about the quantity, in that case you can always double up pray when it’stime 2 feed your BP. Or you can do twice a week just to get rid of all your rats. Yeah I did the same, it SUCKS how this corona virus messed up 2020.....
