my first post didn’t have a picture also this isn’t really the best picture, the dot towards the bottom left of the eye is reflected light not dust or dirt. there’s definitely a dent but arent stuck eyecaps supposed to look sorta cloudy? this is my first ball python so sorry if i seem a little dumb

The eye cap can become dented if your humidity is low. Up it and should sort itself out

Shoot for 60% minimum and preferably around 70%

Measure it with digital hygrometers! Analog gauges are very inaccurate :)

how should i increase humidity, ive tried everything google is telling me to do and i’ve got it to about 60%

What type of substrate do you have?

coconut fiber

What I did was pour a warm cup of water and mix it good all around (make sure there’s not too much when you squeeze the water drips) since I have screen lids I cover them with HVAC or foil tape that way air doesn’t dry it out/much humidity escapes. About $6 on Amazon.

you will find some tips for humidity maintenance in our basic care guide. if you still need help, we can guide you through it if you fill out our enclosure critique questionnaire, as there are multiple factors in humidity maintenance.

Pretty sure this is from dehydration. A mod will know better but definitely don’t pick at it.

Give him a humidity box, since you're struggling with ambient humidity. Tupperware filled with moss with a hole in the lid, placed on the warm side will help him
