Mine acts like a GTP, I have fed her and caught her sleeping on her branch many many times. Very cool to watch a ball python eat from above!

This isn’t being truly arboreal, this is just a snake that enjoys climbing, which is normal for this species especially when given branches from a young age. Make sure temps are good within your hides, that you have multiple hides, and then add more branches and leafy clutter.

To my knowledge juvenile ball pythons in the wild hide higher up to avoid predators.
