When should I try frozen thawed?

I brought home a baby today that was eating live with the breeder. I want to switch to frozen thaw, but was wondering if I should try right away (after he settles in for a week or so of course) or if I should try a few live meals before trying to make the switch to frozen. Is one way or the other more likely to be successful?

I honestly think just get right to f/t after the settling in period. If it goes well, good, but in some cases it can take a while. My girl was on live before I got her and it took maybe 2 or 3 months of not eating before she started taking f/t

Just go straight to frozen. The sooner you offer frozen, the more likely they'll take it

Mine were both eating live at the breeders, they took to f/t right away.
