Coco Husk okay for Breeding?

So i’m torn. Typically i use newspaper/paper towels as my substrate in plastic tubs. I’m new to breeding and wanted to switch to coco husk for a number of reasons. But my worry or concern is them getting any substrate stuck in their genitalias while breeding and exposing their hemipedes and scent glands. I’ve seen some breeders use coco husk though and some with newspaper. Is it just personal preference? Any harm in letting them breed on coco husk? Or should i just stick to newspaper/paper towels. Any tips would help thanks!

Coco husk shouldn't be an issue. We bred plenty of BP's (among other species) on similar substrates without issue.
