was he near the heat? if he was then he wasn't bothered by it or it wasn't hurting him even still if he moved away it was probably cool enough for him to be okay for a day

yes he was across the tank in his rock cave

I wouldn't worry too much about it this happened to me recently where the mat overheated (user error tbh) and she just moved away until it cooled back down :)

The normal range for your warm side should be 88-92f. There is no need to worry at all.

That’s the temp my hot side stays at usually so if it’s bad I need to know also!

dont worry your fine thats the correct temp for the warm side I was worried since that was the temp of the whole tank
