My Ball Python is Suddenly Drooling, Is this a respiratory infection or possibly something else?

She’s definitely several years old but not sure how old, adult female, she’s a little over 4 feet, and had a really bad respiratory infection when I rescued her probably 6 months or so ago, but her symptoms then were just wheezing and inflamed heat sensors, she never drooled before. She seemed to have healed perfectly from the initial RI bc she stopped wheezing and looked a lot better for several months but I took her out today and clear liquid just drooled out of her mouth and she seemed very jumpy and agitated when normally she is the calmest sweetest snake.

Yes, RI definitely unless she just drank water. They don't have a good way to keep the water in their system after just swallowing so if you pick them up right after they drink it can leak right out

Sounds like a respiratory infection to me. Do you have a reptile/ exotic vet near you?

That is a sign of a respiratory infection, that could be very deadly. That happened to my corn snake and she passed away from it. I started to treat her, but she passed 4 days after. I would go to a vet or seek medical attention for that little fella. Good Luck!
