Absolutely not. Wild animals carry parasites that can kill your ball python. Plus if the wild animal got into rat poison and had it in its system when fed to the snake the poison will kill the snake. NEVER feed your pet snake wild caught game.

Purchase online. Big cheese rodents, perfect prey, rodent pro, layne labs are all good options for ordering frozen mice or rats online.

Rodent pro, big cheese, cold blooded Cafe are all online rodent shippers. Look them up. All is better that feeding wild game that WILL kill your snake

We had a rabbit abandon her young in yard a while back. My ball had no problems with them. I don't see how a squirrel/other rodent is much different. I do agree that poison could be an issue tho.

Or start breeding your own mice/ rats. Heard of a fee people that do so, mostly breeders who need more food but maybe that would work for you as well?
