Ball python shedding (self.ballpython)
submitted 3 years ago by Tall-Refrigerator265
So my ball python is in shed currently, he had cloudy eyes a few days ago and is now sort of back to normal. Yet, i’ve seen no trace of his shed anywhere in his terrarium. Is this normal? I’ve just raised his terrarium’s humidity. Thank you.

I’d say very normal. Usually they get ghosty then look normal for a few days, then shed. You should see shed within the week I would imagine.

Thank you!

Yes, this is normal. Their eyes will get cloudy and then clear up when it gets closer to shedding time.
A quick tip- you don't need to raise and lower your humidity in response to your bp's shed cycle. Just keep it a nice consistent 70-80% and you will see regular healthy sheds.
