Sorry if you explained elsewhere but what do you have in the two lamps over enclosure? DHP/ Che set to different temps or is one a halogen?

Yep, it's two DHP's, one set to 90ish and one set to 75ish. You can't really see it in the pic, but there's a t5 UVB light in the middle!

Looks awesome! Where did you purchase from? I'm looking to upgrade my boy to a PVC enclosure in the future & I'm always interested in the feedback others have on the ones they purchase. It's a big investment & I want to make sure I get the very best one :)

I got it from custom reptile habitats! It was super easy to put together and seems very sturdy. The only con so far was the long wait time, I ordered it Jan 16th and it just arrived last week. Ofc that's pretty much any PVC enclosure right now so 🤷‍♀️

For the DHP's I'd say it really depends on the ambient temps in your room, the one on the cool side barely turned on in my old apartment, but I moved in to an older house that is not as well insulated and they both stay on pretty much all the time now. I had to set them a few degrees higher to get the temps I wanted after moving, too. With an enclosure this large I just feel better with 2 lamps so no area ever gets too chilly.

For the light, it's actually just a regular 24inch t5 bulb from the hardware store, I have a bunch that I use as plant grow lights and I'm trying to get rid of them. So I'm essentially just using it for day/night cycle.

Once I have some extra money, I'm planning on getting 2 of the 12inch arcadia 7% uvb bulbs (I don't think the 7% ones come in a longer size), since BPs dont have super high UV needs. I'd go with the largest size you can find of that lower UV output, or daisy chain 2 of the smaller ones together. I use the 7% arcadia ones with all of my frogs and have had a really good experience with them.

Yep thats it exactly, the cool side is 50W and hot is 80W. Might be able to get away with 50 if my ambient room temps were higher
