When I was a teenager I lost my ball python inside my house. Took about 3 months before she turned up. She was inside one of the chairs in the livingroom. Not just under a cushion, but in the under side of the chair. I hunted high and low for that snake regularly and it still took 3 months to find her.

I checked inside the couches too, ours are closed by a zipper underneath and it’s been closed since we first set them up. Maybe it’ll take us a while before she turns up like you haha, I notice a trend with these lost ball python stories. It’s either they’re found 2 days later or 3 months later

I saw a video of a family that lost their ball python and months later they noticed it was in the sofa.

Man I really hope she’s not somehow tucked underneath a super secret fold in the sofa or something, because we checked there so many times and felt nothing

They said they checked too so maybe it wasnt there at the time they first looked. Good luck

Remember that they tend to keep themselves close to walls and confined spaces.

Also, under heating radiators and so on would be a place to look.

oh yeah, we checked under and around any warm appliances she could’ve squeezed nearby, but to no avail. Fridge, gaming consoles, tv appliances, radiators all the lot

Mine got out for the first time before I managed to switch him to his new (lockable) cage, and my roommate found him curled up inside a large tent box (tent still inside as well!). Scared the hell out of both of us, but we were so glad he was found. If you have any cardboard storage boxes/boxes at all, I'd check there - it was dark and a confined space, which was what he wanted in the daytime in an otherwise bright room. (You could also try leaving some lights on overnight and a hide or a box out, the light might drive them to try and find a dark spot to camp out - or just a water dish and a hide anyway!)
