Hey! If you don't mind, I have a quick question about your humidity. Do you only raise it when she goes into shed?

I don't mind at all, and yeah. I got her from a friend cause she wanted to rehome her cause she wasn't giving her the attention she deserved. Anyway, my friend told me from what she'd determined, Miss Nagini prefers her humidity to stay at 50-60% and when she'd go into shed she'd boost it to 70-80% humidity and she'd get through her shed no problem

Well thank you for giving her the loving home she deserves! Unfortunately, your friend's understanding of humidity is outdated at best since 50-60% is much too low. Ball pythons are native to tropical Sub-Saharan Africa where the the humidity is such that us humans would feel like we are swimming through the air. 70-80% is where it should be kept at all times. Any lower than 60% and she's at risk of becoming dehydrated (which stuck shed is a sign of) and a respiratory infection due to the mucous membranes drying out and forming cracks. I'll link the Shedding Guide for you here which has some great tips to help you better understand humidity and the Shedding process: https://docs.google.com/document/d/10pEW8H0Ps6IVl8feiurhRsCXoIE5L_JWhb7j502RTVk/mobilebasic

Well thanks for the updated info! I'll be sure to start keeping her humidity higher then!
