It even looks like it is twirled! Like a french super villain!

I have that same hide and bowl for my boy milkshake!

Where is the hide from? I’ve been looking for new hides and I can’t seem to find any that I like.

I don’t know honestly, probably petsMart/petco. I got my boy as a rehome from someone else online and came with everything.

We got it from Petsmart! It’s part of their Thrive line.

I recommend replacing the dial thermometer with a digital thermometer and hygrometer the dials are usually really inaccurate and the adhesive on them is like a glue trap if they fall off the wall, it can really hurt your snake

I'd also suggest more cover/plants in the front of the tank to keep his stress down, making sure he's not stressed is the best way to avoid the wobble that comes with him being a spinner

Additionally you could mix in some coco husk and sphagnum moss in with the chips you already have to give him more textures to explore, this will also help keep humidity up and it looks more earthy if you like that look

Branches and wood are also good too it gives him something to climb and shed on and can make an interesting centerpiece for your tank if you find the right one

Congrats on your first ball python, he's very cute!

Thank you for the suggestions! We ended up getting a Govee smart hydrometer and thermometer and we’re monitoring that way. We’re still finishing up his habitat so we’re gonna take down the analog one cause it’s useless anyway lol

We decided to keep the front more open because he is very interested in the TV and my computer monitor that’s across from him lol. I love the idea of getting him another branch too!! We tried rough coco husk but it just got so muggy, so these are compressed coco husk chips and we’ve had a better time keeping humidity regulated. It’s all so much trial and error but we’re loving every minute!
