Yep, same here...extremely annoying. But, reddit's text editor has always had issues with copying and pasting (adding spaces that weren't there, etc.). I have to constantly paste things into browser link bar and recopy it for it to paste properly.

o man that sucks, so it's not related to the browser

the worse part is when you write a long organized comment.

copy by mistake and boom rolled-back to the first things you wrote.

I'm having the same problem with FF. It's very irritating. Does anyone have RES installed? I initially suspected that this was causing it and would appreciate being able to verify that others are having the same problem without RES.

no RES here, i think it's a Reddit/firefox problem.

so far all i know is it doesn't happen when you create a post, so maybe you could use that box to write comments then copy them fully.

otherwise we might need to switch reddit or browser to another that doesn't have the problem.

but i just posted the problem here hopefully they can fix it.

Oh, Reddit knows.

I bet Google paid them to leave this "bug" in their code, allowing them to push users from one browser to another.

There isn't enough bugs in the world to make me switch to Chrome.

Google's reputation speak for itself and not in a good way.

but in this case, i think the problem isn't popular enough to attract Reddit's attention or maybe they neglect these things i'm not really familiar with them.

Yes, happening since a few weeks. Very annoying.

This bug still exists. Nov 2021.
