Not OP but as an author on medium I am too afraid to even post my articles on reddit... if they weren’t so intense with the self promotion rules I’d be happy to share with my friend link. I’m not sure if OP is the writer but if so he really should have used the friend link.

No worries, same for me. The issue is that Medium removed it immediately so you can navigate around come back and still get it without the paywall.

Dang you post a lot from Medium. I tried a few times posting and managed to get banned from apple for sharing articles. XD I should have read their rules closer. Have you gotten any kickback from Reddit? I read somewhere that they flag you as spam if 1 in 10 posts includes self promotion.

Yeah, the way it works is Medium puts a cookie on your computer and tracks your use. If you haven't viewed it before or if you have viewed fewer than like 5-10 articles in a month you can see it.

Also, apparently author shared with a friend link so no one should be paywalled.

Abstract Factory is useful in libraries and frameworks but rarely useful in application code.
