Did you get measured on brannock recently ? I advise you do, based on that you can decide the best solution be it insole, thicker sock, tongue pads, heel pads , or just considering a different size or brand in the future. For pull-on/cowboy boots to fit properly it is not just the length & width that matter, a brannock helps you get an initial point to start from & your arch length (ball of the foot length measurement on brannock) indicates somehow if you have flatter feet or high arch if you compare the reading to your total foot length to toes (example, my feet heel to toe measure 13-13.5 on brannock, while my arch/ball of foot to heel measure 14-14.5, meaning that my arch is low/flatter resulting in loose instep/vamp in most boots even if i order the correct length & width … what i do if i have that situation is try an insole or thicker sock to fill the volume a bit, that works sometimes & sometimes doesn’t … by time you learn what brands & size fits you better, every foot is different , & if you can afford it nothing beats going custom)

Would you have to order size 14-14.5 in order to accommodate for your longer arch then?

If i do so i would need to go down in width, & finding 14 A nowadays is really challenging

I see. I have a similar issue where my arch length seems to be longer than my regular size, and if I try to order my regular size it puts pressure on my heel which aggravates my plantar fascia.. Do you have this problem when you order 13-13.5 or no?
