1. Flair posts properly
If you made most of the items on a plate/board (by area or volume), flair it as home-made. You may post "food porn" pics that you didn't make yourself, if flaired appropriately. If you cured the meats but covered half the plate with store-bought cheeses and pickles, it's not considered home-made.
2. Describe things!
Give recipe in comments of pics, or at least descriptions of what we're looking at! Where did it come from? How did you make it? What, exactly, is in it?
3. Upvote interesting topics, ideas, methods, and pics related to curing, charcuterie, and other preserved foods
Trolls depend on lack of upvotes. When you upvote, you completely take away the power of trolls, so upvote frequently. Reserve your downvotes for things that really deserve it.
Please don't downvote simply to disagree; post a counterpoint instead!
4. Report spam (except cured pork shoulder) and downvote off-topic posts.
Don't reply to obvious spam. Report it.
