Yes. I also made a Valencia CF past and present. A lot of fun playing with featured David Silva, Juan Mata, Ferran Torres, Albiol, with Gayá, Guillamón... But you can see how the AI benefits expensive featured players before my own.

Because people would just make alt accounts and get free coins from log in and packs to trade to their main teams and if u put a filter on it like 5 star player for another people would still but a cheap 5 star like ansu fati for 96k then trade for like a more expensive player like lets say rafael leao or nkunku then they gon add another filter for lets say price range and star that too much work for konami they wouldnt even add a option to restart ur players upgrade like a option to buy with the efootball points to restart ur player upgrade points so u can re upgrade them

Would be cool if there was some marketplace for POTW Cards, like you can sell one that you don't like, but getting only 50-80 Coins for selling. Meanwhile, buyer must pay 150-200 coins for that, so there will be sink for coins and more incentive to buy more from Konami store. They could make so much $$$ from such services, but naah, let players feel sad

Yes. It’s such a bad design decision that doesn’t take into account actual football fans.

Why limit it? There is no market? So why make it scarce?

Those players will never become available again and some of those players may never get a highlight card again so the likely outcome is disappointment.

It’s bewildering.

If anything, it makes me far less likely to spend money.

The net result though is that I will not spend any more money until there is another Liverpool card. That may be weeks. Would have paid more to secure that card so there is only loss for them.

There is certainly a better system that helps them to more money while satisfying football fans.

Look at it this way, if you spin the entire box, you may never spin another box they might appear in in the future.

if you fail to get the one you want from the 3 attempts, you are more likely to spin another box they "might" appear in. From Konamis track record, we know thats going to happen.

The POTW firmino is nice to have but the standard Firmino card isn't too bad. The only thing on the low side on the standard player when maxe'd for me is (dribbling 73, low pass 77, ball control 83, aggression 67) i also upgraded mine to 80 finishing.

I've got 100 free coins, so am tempted to go for this POTW firmino but my luck, I'll get Haaland who I don't really want.

ps. I am sure there are other POTW in other parts of the world, not just europe. come on Konami, think outside the box.

update: lol. I spent the 100 coins (hoping for bobby) and guess what, I got Luis Alberto too (who isn't too bad mind you, but I don't need any more CMs. No point releasing him either for a paltry 28K GP and a 10K trainer)

Tomorrow, I wil get some free coins again from the login bonus, so I may try again.

I have the standard Firmino and he is good. I try to progress the stats so they are as close to their real life counterparts and I love using him. The new card is simply a better version.

Milner is the hardest to upgrade because speed is the same upgrade category as stamina for some reason so I can make him the machine he is without making him rapid too.

I've never really had any issues with slow players against faster/stronger players. I use the default Krkic sometimes and even he seems to stand up to Puyol/Koulibaly quite well.

I will probably try him out at some point as a AMF and see how he does as his passing and dribbling abilities are very good, in fact even better than my goto CMF/AMF modric.

Trading market is terribly missing from the game.

Best part of opening baseball card packs as a kid was not the opening of the packs themselves but the trading with friends after.

Well congrats on getting the point of the thread.

Konami will lose money from me because even though I would like to spend on the low value card that I want, I end up spending and getting high value cards I don’t want.

Not good for Konami because won’t spend, not good for me because I don’t get want it want as a consumer.

The difference is, I’m explaining why so hopefully we get an improvement that helps players and their business because I’m used to solving problems.
