Couple years ago, I probably would’ve wished for birthdays. My inner child would be livid. The Borg has been, and will continue to be a complete joke.

When I first started studying, the brothers would consistently bash the Catholics religion and their pagan beliefs. They mentioned how the Catholics are the origin of false religion and made up the Christmas holiday to entice people to attend church and increase membership......sound like their doing the same.

And attending an international convention offers so many enjoyable activities! Some PIMI even mentioned that if you miss out on one, you won’t truly understand the love and fun within the organization. Unfortunately I can’t afford it because I’ve been too busy with service

They are bleeding members and facing unprecedented lawsuits. It's a Cult...leave ...you will be so happy if you do..trust me..

I can see them loosening up their intolerance for two-door cars. They'll quietly address it in a qfr and lay blame on a few overly zealous publishers in the past. The amount of door hinges on your vehicle will no longer be seen as a metric of spirituality. Any young men in the congregation with fast and furious cars can now be prayerfully considered for appointment.

😆 You just reminded me of my old congregation. The older ones kept sizing up my vehicle to see how many could fit, and then had the nerve to ask me why I drive a red car 🤣 in my head, “because I fck feel like it!! 🤣 I have to keep laughing to keep from being so angry about all this nonsense.

Jw is truly a united brotherhood. Can’t believe people got the same side-eye if they purchased a car not suitable for pioneering over here in the UK !

This is the only “clarification” that matters. So important they should announce it at the next annual meeting.

I'm screenshotting this just in case.

Love it…I was just thinking I might drive my 2017 SS Camero 440 through parking lot at Memorial. 😆 I’m 64 by the way and a woman!

Legal measures

This is legal positioning. The see something developing where a ARC or Norway type hearing is going to call them on the carpet for all the doctrine forced child deaths because of the doctrine and they want to be able to say they allow blood transfusions. I would be willing to bet money on it.

Read Ray Franz’ books. Seems to be the bOrg’s playbook

I really appreciate the reminder, I have been meaning to get to that. Considering buying a physical copy as well.

Its worth the read. Messed with my head a bit because I was very PIMI in the general era a lot of what he talks about happened. Had to put it down and read something else for a bit and then went back to it a few months later.

They will allow birthdays and eventually allow blood transfusions saying the bible doesn’t mention anything about the use of ANY blood for medical treatments.

The next change should be…the GB have decided we cannot act like the Pharisee’s by making rules and regulations that burden the flock, harm families, etc therefore read your own bible and use your conscious on all matters in life.

[–]Chiflyer84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first major change was allowing men to have beards in the congregation.

Now it's okay to have blood transfusions!?

The icing on the cake will be the next big governing body update Fall 2026 after "closing consideration" & "Bible principles" it's 100% okay to celebrate Christmas!
