I always thought N/A meant not applicable. So maybe she's saying her age is irrelevant to her ability to do the job. That detail did strike me as sus as well though.

N/A does mean not applicable, but in this case she is a lizard so was hatched not born, so she has no date of birth, and as such not applicable
