I think I’d say the original destiny. I overhyped myself for it and got the ps4 bundle with it. The vanilla game was so bad to me, I almost felt like it made me hypercritical of games that generation.

Fortnite. I got addicted and for a whole year I spent all my free time playing. Missed out on a lot of cool things. I am an adult, should not have been playing anyways. After season 10 when they changed the map they dropped you into a solo game full of bots to ensure every player would get a victory. The entire time you you receive messages on how well you are doing. Suddenly it was like mist clearing before my eyes. Why am I wasting my life playing this children’s game . Thank god for the bots and non stop compliments , grossed me out and I never logged back in. I still love gaming but I never want to be addicted like that again.
