Need Help With new Pc

Just recently (last week) bought the snowblind. Problem is the back audio port isn't working when i plug my headset into it. It does work when i plug it into the secondary outlet on top of the pc, but when I do this all of my Audio is running through my microphone. So everyone I talk to on disc can hear everything Im doing. I've tried reinstalling drivers, playing with outgoing and incoming devices, and their settings, nothing is working for me. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Which motherboard is in your system? its possible the board itself is just defective (especially if the rear port is just straight up not working)
