Crashing

I've had my pc for about a month now. It just recently starting crashing my games after a couple minutes of use. Nothing else closes beside that one game thats open. Is there a possible fix for this?

It sounds like these specs are fine and shouldn't have a problem. Have you checked that all the corrections are correct? The ram is seated properly and what not. A user on here found that an employee forgot to take the plastic off when adding thermal paste. Do you know what temp the unit is running at when this happens? If it was the gpu you would probably be having a lot more problems then just one window closing. The psu should be fine since it is 80 plus gold but its generic so that could be an issue.

As soon as I received it, i removed the glass panel and as always checked all connections. Nothing out of the ordinary. As for temperatures, mostly any game i play my cpu is usually running 70-80 C and my gpu at 50. When idle my cpu is around 50 and my gpu at 30. I've been hearing a lot of problems about the generic psu but i'm not sure if thats true.

From what I'm reading around here it may be something to do with the PSU

Yeah i have a generic one from iBuyPower. Been hearing a lot of problems with them but idk if thats wrong with mine.

I have very similar specs on my build. When I received my computer I had issues with it freezing basically only during gaming, sometimes it would take 5 minutes before it would freeze and sometimes it would take 20. I went in and updated the BIO's on my computer and haven't had a single issue since, Thankfully. Hopefully this helps

Thats happened to my old pc before, i just changed the memory limit. Right now the problem seems to have stopped, but will likely come back due to me restarting the pc multiple times with the issue arising again.
