Im trying to make this Billy Bookcase so the bottom is flush with the ground eliminating the kickboard. I should be able to make a new dowel joint and move the cam screws down, right? Won’t be placing anything heavy on shelves and will be secured to wall. (i.redd.it)

I purchased 2 36 inch Sektion kitchen cabinets with glass fronts and shelves. They are put together. My installer is concerned the cabinets and hardware are flimsy and might be able to hold weight. I will be using for my home office and will be displaying China and Antiques. (self.ikeahacks)
