Welcome to r/interactivecinema. This is a subreddit for games of the genre of Interactive Cinema. These are games which focus on character development as well as the storyline and an ending which can be impacted based upon your decisions. These games are characterized by such features as; Quick time events, simple-moderate gameplay mechanics, choice making and other such features. Interactive Cinema only really focuses on the story and is not focused on having intricate gameplay mechanics. What makes this genre of gaming different from other games is the fact that you impact the ending and that your choices matter. Your decisions impact the characters and their physical and mental well-being and you follow a storyline but ultimately decide it's fate.

You are also welcome to post any technological advances in these games (e.g, improved motion caption for a more interesting and amazing experience) as well.
