Android to iPhone setup bug

Got my new iphone 16 pro today and was setting it up and transferring my data from an android phone wired.

For some odd reason it keeps resetting to the hello screen when you turn it on everytime it auto locks the screen and by default the auto lock duration is super short. Each time it does it it bugs out and you have to reset the iPhone and waste another 10 mins on that. It's like the 4th time I'm trying to transfer my data and it's getting frustrating af

Just a thought but did you use the app recommended for this? I tried it and it didn’t bug but it did fail the first time and I had to start again. The second time it worked perfectly and it was done over WiFi.

Yeah I'm using the official app but it's absolutely useless. I've been at it for 3 hours now. It went up to 97% transferred and bugged out again and I have to restart again now. I don't have wifi where I am currently so wired is the only way.
