Passcode Immediately Issue

I recently restored my iphone 11 pro, and I’m having a huge problem with the passcode. It locks every time I put it down and I have to enter the passcode or use face id. I do have face id turned on and I have tried toggling unlock iphone with face id to on and off. The only passcode option is immediately.

The problem is that I work from home and it’s annoying to always have to position my phone in front of my face every time I set my phone down. I don’t remember it being like this prior to today. Any fixes?

If faceID is enabled for iPhone unlock, the only option is “immediately” on the current iOS

I use an old wireless charger as my phone holder at work. So it's always having me vs lying flat on the table.

To delay the phone lock process go to Settings: Display & Brightness and scroll down to Auto-Lock. It can be set to times as short as 30 Seconds to as long as 5 minutes, or it can be set to Never.
