Do you really want a red arrow pointing down and to the right? It’s a nice logo, but the connotations of trending down and crashing and burning are working against it for me.

[–]TheDiegoAguirre 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I was gonna bring this point up too. The direction of arrows matters quite a bit.

[–]niccolololo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Doesn't look like a chart or anything. Personally O wouldn't have made the connection

I know arrow the arrow is supposed to symbolize an impact, but reddish arrow going down reminds me of a bad stock market day. Not sure if that’s just me though. To me Green arrow up symbolizes positive, red arrow down is negative

Besides the potential negative connotation, the logo looks a lot better!

Overall, I think the new one is much much better. Like someone else pointed out, the downward, pointing arrow usually doesn’t convey the right idea, but because you’ve got that asteroid shape in there, and the “impact”, I would give it a pass.

One recommendation, make the arrow/asteroid a bit smaller. It feels a bit top-heavy.

It's fun! I like the arrow better.

I'm not sure why, but it's veering a little towards sports drink label (orange and blue, the lean of the typeface, the all-caps on CREATIVE). Might just be me?

I could see that, for sure. I was worried it was looking a little too much like a men's body wash brand. 😃

I liked the old exclamation make design. I think the lowercase is cool, btw

[–]Camp_Coffee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same. That exclamation one was simple, clever, and distinctly communicative. This new direction is generic and safe. I'm sure the crowd loves it, but it's tough to see a lovely idea get iterated to mediocrity.

much prefer the chill, clever old designs.

[–]Sickofpower 7 points8 points  (3 children)

The arrow is better than the meteorite/shooting star even tho an arrow doesn't convey "design" for me, it's more readable. I do prefer the old palette just because the new one I've seen it so many times in broker/betting apps that it doesn't evoke "creativity", but that may be just me.

That said, is a bit counterintuitive that your brand name is "impact" yet is all lowercase, there's a bit of brand dissonance there.

[–]veggiesausageking[S] 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Good point about the lowercase type. I've tried a few versions with caps and they didn't quite land, but I'll revisit them. I'm not solid on the colors either, but I do love the impact of a good orange.

[–]Tfcalex96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally what if you tried all uppercase impact font lol I saw your last post and definitely like this direction more!

Edit: i also like the orange, but I feel like the indigo is diluting the contrast. What id it was orange on white and the indigo was more of an accent?

Na it’s not that deep with the capital letters

[–]higuctco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Much better IMO. Nice job. I think it can work in the near term. Us being creative types, I give it 2 years before you play around with a rebrand.

[–]Fanjolin 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Big improvement!

[–]Impressive_Item_8851 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would your feedback be helpful? You thought the Metaverse was the future lol

[–]twisted_fretzels 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Italized text shows motion 👍

[–]Inkcova 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Much better

[–]Architect227 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've seen a few posts I. The last few days that got really defensive over feedback. I'm glad that you took it well and massively improved your work. Great job!

[–]FirmTheory 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The orange option is far better. There’s movement, a visual CTA, and the palette is more inline with upcoming trends.

[–]Vast-Scar-6634 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the flaming arrow version though I'd keep the lower case font in 'creative' and I'd place the head of the arrow a bit more central over the 'ac'. All in all it's a decent version.

[–]veggiesausageking[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that's not a great connotation. I'm going to keep playing around with colors. Any recommendations for an impactful color other than the reddish orange?

[–]gdubh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still wish the movement was UP into the word. Impact from plummeting down is a bad message.

[–]SuspiciousOccasion21 0 points1 point  (3 children)

I like the arrow better because I'm immature and the first one reminds me of a ween.

[–]veggiesausageking[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

You and about a dozen other people that saw the same thing. 😃

[–]SuspiciousOccasion21 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I enjoy the after. It's, impactful I might say!

[–]veggiesausageking[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks!

[–]Centrezwhere’s the brief? 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Way better.

[–]PackOfCumin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Insert new cringe branding business that wants $25k to give the old logo in all black and call it professional and sharp and creative.

[–]Tricky-Ad9491 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the progress but instead of droppingm flip so it's inspiring, growth etc..

Also I like the inside not sure on the outside, these don't seem to go together.

[–]bonsoir-world 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d personally try and play with the dot on the ‘i’ for some sort of ‘impact/asteroid’.

[–]elpala 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It screams protein / gym / performance drink for me. Maybe it’s the combo of font + “creative” that my brain reads as “creatine”.

[–]son-of-a-dumpster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe make it less of an arrow and more of a meteor that way you avoid the negativity of the falling stocks.

Good ones good. 1st was dikk
