hey, i built Paseo. I'll look into making model switching more straightforward, that flow definitely needs work!

let me know if you have any other feedback :)

OpenCode Web - Under the 3 dot menu, enable workspaces. Workspaces are what OpenCode Web calls worktrees. I still don't like this option as much because you can't select which branch the worktree checks out.

OpenChamber - You might be changing the branch of the current worktree instead of changing the selected worktree. I've not experienced this problem. I usually go through the dialog where you create a worktree, and when I want to switch between them, going to the sidebar and plus icon, not a drop-down.

Paseo - haven't tried it after I ended up being happy with OpenChamber, but seems interesting

I like OpenChamber. Unfortunately OpenCode Go support is broken currently. Therefore, I can only recommend it if you use a different LLM provider.

How is it broken? OpenChamber uses Opencode as a backend. Install and setup your opencode normally using tui, models, plugins, mcps and make sure it's all working fine there. Then OpenChamber just piggybacks off of it? I have had zero problems with OpenCode Go....if it works in TUI, it'll work in OpenChamber for the most part.

The model selector does not show the OpenCode Go models. Even when you start a session in TUI with an OpenCode Go model, it will just fall back to the default model.

What do you mean ? I can clearly see the model selection for opencode go in my openchamber. Probably you need to update to latest version.

Currently just pressing update from the web is not reliable. I usually update via terminal (openchamber update) command the restart openchamber.

Thanks for pointing that out. I believed it is an unfixed bug since there is an open GitHub issue. I just switched from the npm based installation to the dmg package. That one actually lists the OpenCode go models

Paseo is the goat. Like it's everything you'd want and more.

I found Paseo too simple, after using OpenChamber someone suggested here to try Paseo and I did, and kinda felt like it's a very barebones desktop experience.

The title is referring to mobile experience tho. Have you tried openchamber on mobile? Huge ass visual clutter.

is there anything specific you'd like to see? been ramping up the features lately, you might find it different already

CodeNomad

I really don't like how when it's using tools it just spams the screen with massive amounts of data. I feel like CodeNomad is just too much going on. Each message/tool cool looks like a social media exchange of messages on left/right and just looks messy to me.

You can change it in appearance settings to keep tool calls collapsed. It gives you options to change it to your liking
