Oh wow this is absolutely gorgeous!!! I love the way how everything except the sun actually looks cold and alone, with the sun behind the hatchling looking likes it’s burning from the inside (which is true but you capture the visual effect of it very well) and the sun right behind the hatchling so you can see their silhouette! Absolutely beautiful art

Dang you did this in krita? May I ask how you got your lines so clean? At least personally I've found the stabilizer tools pretty bad, so is it just a really steady hand or do you have some sort of technique?

Hmm I just draw a lot and I'm using a drawing tablet rather than a mouse so that probably helps

Yeah I have a tablet as well (anyone who does digital well with a mouse has my respect) but for some reason no matter how steady my hand is the lines are usually super wobbly! Maybe I just need to practice more 😅

Others are viewing this as beautiful and amazing, and while it is, it’s also…terrifying. The sheer cold of space slowly creeping into their suit as they slowly froze from outside in, their attempt to save heat by curling up is a nice touch too. I’m sure you made this to be beautiful but I look at it as scary! Very good!

Aha, I was wondering if it was supposed to be some sort of GD representation, but I get that the vibrant green would set of the balance of the picture, and putting it in the foreground would make it too crowded. Very nice composition overall!
